Carry out on-site preventative maintenance, service actions and other routine tasks according to customer requests and contract obligations.
Report on designed/installed equipment, which is not performing to the design specifications.
Manage allocated assets including spare parts, computers and tools.
Ensure high standard of service, skill, ability with current products.
Resolve within a reasonable time any equipment faults and ensure quality of output.
Involvement in continual improvement activities.
Ensure all paperwork is completed and submitted on time and correct.
Escalate issues in a timely manner.
Ensure Operations are informed of any improvements.
Develop and maintain effective on-going relationships with customer.
Recognise and report sales opportunities for Customer Service and all other divisions of the Company
Use hazard identification tools and systems to ensure safe work practices are used and work areas and customer sites are hazard free.
Ensure compliance of all health & safety legislation.assignments undertaken.
Represent the company in a professional manner at all times.
Ensure customer satisfaction
Possesses a 4-year bachelor degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Mechatronics/Factory Automation/Automobile Engineering
Possesses a related national qualification
3 -5 years of relevant experience in control engineering/ industrial automation/ maintenance of plant/machinery / material handling equipment
Experience in heavy machinery/factory automation/mechatronics/PLC industry as a Mechanic/Electrician/PLC Controls Engineer
Proficiency in English (written and spoken) is mandatory
Understanding of OH&S requirements.
Ability to interact and liaise with all team members.
Customer focused and relationship skills.
Ability to operate alone or as part of a team.
Ability to work without supervision.
