Job Description:
Prepare/assist with development of functional specifications
Prepare/assist with budget costing
Liaising with clients and the Company personnel
Conformance to OHS&E standards in the design and execution of all work
Preparation of schematic drawings, PLC programs and configuration of operator interfaces
Preparation of manufacturing and installation specifications
Planning and supervision of major controls installations
Manage the procurement of parts, the manufacture of cabinets and the electrical installation
Controls project cost control
Testing and commissioning
Preparation of test plans and operator & technical manuals
Training of client personnel
Provide customer support
Hand over to Customer service
Job Requirements:
[Knowledge / Experience]
Degree in Electrical Engineering/MechatronicsExperience in electrical drawings design (EPLAN, EEC One, AutoCAD)
Experience in electrical installation supervision
Experience in system design
Experience interfacing materials handling systems with third party equipment’s (eg. automatic tag readers, barcode scanners, weigh scales etc)
Experience in PLC software development and office testing
Knowledge of configuration, programming and commissioning of PLCs, variable speed drives and safety devices
Knowledge of materials handling system controls
Writing of technical documentation
Experience in development of testing environments and conducting FATs
Management of installation crews
[Additional Note]
Preferably someone with degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering
Hands on PLC programming experience is mandatory (Siemens S7)
Hands on experience for SCADA and WinCC is mandatory
Experience in Electrical hardware design would be advantageous but not mandatory
Open to travel 30-40% within and outside of Korea.
Candidate must be able to communicate in English fluently
Reporting to a Manager who will be communicating in English
