    Company Introduction:

    World’s leading manufacturer of high-quality chocolate and cocoa products – from sourcing and processing cocoa beans to producing the finest chocolates, including chocolate fillings, decorations and compounds. The company runs more than 50 production facilities worldwide and employs a diverse and dedicated global workforce of close to 10,000 people


    Position Background:

    Former Business Development Manager has been promoted to a senior position and the company looking for a replacement who will take over the role

    Job Description:

    • Define & apply yearly distribution push & pull plan, aimed at: Growing distribution reach both offline & online, Growing both volume & overall profit with related importers/distributors, Growing brand awareness

    • Support importers & key secondary distributors, in the forms of: Brand & product training, demonstrations, Brand events, New product or new packaging launch, Updated marketing and sales tools, End-user visits, Industry information, End user data base

    • Analyze & manage product portfolio with goal to optimize volume and profitability in distribution

    • Introductions of new products

    • Phasing outs

    • Sales promotions focusing on high-margin or new items

    • Build positive relationships with influential industry members: officials of trade associations, top chefs, influential bloggers, Ambassadors, school

    • Provide monthly reporting to management, including: Evolution of distribution points, Evolution of distributed volumes per brand, Key actions for next 3 months,

    • Prepare yearly brand reviews & other market materials as requested by local, regional or global management


    Job Requirements:

    • Bachelor degree in Sales and Marketing or equivalent

    • Minimum 8 years in sales and/or marketing with experience in the HORECA sales

    • Experience in managing distributor channel is an added advantage

    • Matured, result driven and proven track record.
