Based in Seoul, the incumbent will be responsible for driving local A&D activities as well as supporting dealer partners with the local Market Manager. The role requires the individual to work closely with the local team to grow business in Korea. The individual will be regularly networking and engaging with the specifier community to drive demand and increase leads. A key part of this role is to develop strategies and implement plans to expand the company presence in the market. The goal is to ensure the Architecture and Design community at all levels consider the company brand on each and every new project. The employee will respond in a responsive and informed fashion so that the specifier community view the company brand in the highest regard and choose to contact the company in the first instance on new opportunities. The awareness in the community should result in lead generation and specification for all of the company brands.
Formulate short and long-term strategies on engaging with the A&D community to grow the business in Korea. This involves developing relationships with the A&D community with the goal to create awareness about our brand and our products and to generate opportunity for the sales funnel.
Engage the A&D community in meaningful and productive dialogue about insights, products and projects. Promote and raise profile of the Company brand and drive growth by:
Conducting A&D studio presentations
Regular engagement with A&D
Organise and host showroom visits
Organise and participate in networking events
Support the company's dealer partners, working closely with the local Market Manager:
Regular input and update of Salesforce database
Manage and organise local sample inventory and marketing collateral
Meeting and event coordination
Report on activity and market opportunities
Product training and general education activities of dealer partners
Any other tasks as needed, in line with the position, including but not limited to supporting Market Manager with work as required.
Education and experience
Minimum 2-3 years of experience within the industry, high level of commercial awareness
Degree level education in Interior Design, Marketing or other relevant areas
Proven demonstrable track record of working with Architecture and Design community
Strong interpersonal skills, good at networking
Self-motivated with strong work ethic, must be flexible to work out of hours when required
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Patient with an organised and methodical mind.
Must enjoy team work and achieve goals together, but also be self motivated and able to work alone and be self sufficient
Must be flexible to work hours when required and undertake travel throughout the region.
Must be literate in the use of IT systems
Must be culturally aware and enjoy working in a multinational environment
Strong interpersonal skills.
