Job Description:

• Prepare/assist with development of functional specifications

• Prepare/assist with budget costing

• Liaising with clients and the Company personnel

• Conformance to OHS&E standards in the design and execution of all work

• Preparation of schematic drawings, PLC programs and configuration of operator interfaces

• Preparation of manufacturing and installation specifications

• Planning and supervision of major controls installations

• Manage the procurement of parts, the manufacture of cabinets and the electrical installation

• Controls project cost control

• Testing and commissioning

• Preparation of test plans and operator & technical manuals

• Training of client personnel

• Provide customer support

• Hand over to Customer service

Job Requirements:

[Knowledge / Experience]

• Degree in Electrical Engineering/MechatronicsExperience in electrical drawings design (EPLAN, EEC One, AutoCAD)

• Experience in electrical installation supervision

• Experience in system design

• Experience interfacing materials handling systems with third party equipment’s (eg. automatic tag readers, barcode scanners, weigh scales etc)

• Experience in PLC software development and office testing

• Knowledge of configuration, programming and commissioning of PLCs, variable speed drives and safety devices

• Knowledge of materials handling system controls

• Writing of technical documentation

• Experience in development of testing environments and conducting FATs

• Management of installation crews

[Additional Note]

• Preferably someone with degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering

• Hands on PLC programming experience is mandatory (Siemens S7)

• Hands on experience for SCADA and WinCC is mandatory

• Experience in Electrical hardware design would be advantageous but not mandatory

• Open to travel 30-40% within and outside of Korea.

• Candidate must be able to communicate in English fluently

• Reporting to a Manager who will be communicating in English
