Position Background: The company is looking for a key new role to support the growth in demand for company’s suite of software and technology solutions for the insurance sector in Korea, covering a combination of pre-sales role and technology support. Company's software and technology solutions support insurance companies that require sophisticated and auditable financial modelling processes as they confront volatile markets and regulatory changes.
On-site and remote installation, configuration and support of company’s software; recommending appropriate bespoke solutions where required.
Providing technical input (infrastructure) and support to development teams.
Providing pre-sales and technical support to consultants and the sales teams.
Training clients on installation and on-going support of advanced software products
Ad-hoc internal IT support.
Strong communication skills – the consulting image is important
Capability to understand complex IT architectures
Good knowledge of server hardware and configuration
Microsoft Windows Server, IIS, Active Directory and networking knowledge
SQL Server database experience including SQL, maintenance and optimization
Bachelors degree in IT, Business
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work with limited supervision
Outstanding Problem solving and analytical skills
Capable to convey ideas in coherent, fluent and logical manner
Good command of both written and oral in both Korean and English
