Role Purpose / Summary:
To work effectively with end users to understand needs, analyse and propose solutions through technical and functional specifications, then build and deliver the agreed business processes solution. As an Implementation Consultant, you will be part of the Professional Services team, providing business technical consulting services around product solutions and IP Platform cloud Apps for intellectual property customers.
Develop system test plans, user acceptance test criteria with the customer and the Company Global Software Solutions technical team.
Design, code, test and implement the needed software parts to meet customer needs.
Installing our solution (client site, remotely or AWS hosting, developing SQL scripts for importing data from various sources (Data Migration), developing tools and interfaces (SQL, .NET, data exchange APIs…).
Building, testing and documenting your deliverables; saving source code.
Develop a thorough understanding of technical architectures.
Follow a thorough quality assurance process through the various phases of testing – including system testing, integration testing, data conversion testing and user acceptance testing. Take ownership of software defect tracking through documenting ‘bugs’, researching issues, validating fixes and communicating results.
Follow the Company project management methodology for business processes.
Provides subject matter thought leadership through all phases of the project.
Provide timely and accurate reports that adhere to standards on project status to stakeholders.
Anticipate problems and provide solutions using project governance
Manage competing priorities in a complex environment
Transfer knowledge of business processes and requirements to the technical team members.
Establish a rapport with the customer that fosters on-going communication about the business to allow for full appreciation of the business needs.
Ensure that the project closes effectively through production and turnover to Support Teams.
5+ years of relevant work experience - Candidates with S/W implementation and Intellectual property experience
IT related degree or experience.
Prefer candidates with MNC experience
BA/PM experience and knowledge of agile/sprint methodologies
Knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL (Oracle, SQL Server)
Knowledge of .NET (C#, ASPX, WCF).
Fluent English both spoken and written is essential.
