Global leader in digital payments
The Position is responsible for identifying new opportunities for digital and mobile payments, creating customized strategies for the company and delivering the capabilities required to capture these opportunities in the relevant markets.
Lead the build-up and execution of strategic digital payment initiatives within the given market by collaborating with digital payments, technology, and processing partners in these market, as well as with various teams in Asia Pacific and United States.
Define and review the Company business rules, technical specifications and product requirements related to the Company's digital payment and processing solutions to ensure that local regulation, business requirements and stakeholder interests are taken into account in related strategy and action plan.
Lead the Company’s clients as subject matter expert on digital products and processing solutions with scoping and defining deployment plans for these programs in the given markets
Communicate the Company’s digital payment solutions architecture and deployment processes to internal and external stakeholders including clients, regulators and industry partners.
Manage internal stakeholders from in country teams to Global/AP product office and external stakeholders from clients to solution partners to ensure products and solutions deployed in the given markets align with the Company’s digital strategy and ensure deployments are of high standard.
Business or Engineering degree preferred – masters advantageous
At least 10 years of relevant digital payments, processing and/or operational experience preferably in Korea
Deep knowledge and understanding of payments business and technology across digital payment, mobile wallets, eCommerce, payment processing, and chip technologies
Highly collaborative, bringing a structured problem-solving approach to client engagements and documentation, employing solutions, moderation and facilitation skills.
Strong business acumen with an appreciation for how technology can be applied to solve business problems.
Strong ability to analyze technical specifications and explain complex concepts in simple language
Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to drive consensus with external clients and with cross-regional or cross-functional teams
Strategic thinker who can balance big picture strategy and detailed, flawless execution
Flexible and proactive trouble-shooting capabilities with the ability to manage diverse groups organized within different organizational reporting lines
High attention to detail and quality for all work products
Strong proficiency in spoken and written English
